  • I think you are right that there needs to be non-military solutions. The only problem is, it's not our country. We can send troops and fight terrorists and maybe even twist the arm of Karzai to a certain extent. But in the end, we have no jurisdiction in their country.

  • I think that the troop increase may be a disappointment b/ c I feel like we should get out now. But I also feel that Obama chose an option I hadn't even thought of : increase troops now but also set up a withdrawel timeline for the near future.

  • I think dry counties probably do have a lower crime rate or a lower DUI rate... BUT that is probably because those people are pretty mellow mature people to begin with.
